£100-£117 per day | Full-time | Immediate Start
Are you a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience and ready for a new challenge?
Remedy Education are looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming school in East London. This is a great opportunity to join a school where you'll be valued as part of the team and play an important role in supporting pupils every day.
You'll be working closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils with additional needs access learning, manage challenges and develop their independence.
Your day could include:
Supporting pupils during lessons and activities
Providing 1:1 and small-group support
Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning
Encouraging communication and independence
Supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural needs
Reinforcing positive behaviour
Assisting teachers with classroom activities
Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
What we're looking for:
Previous experience supporting children with SEN
A genuine passion for working with young people
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, resilience and a calm approach
Good behaviour management skills
Someone reliable, proactive and willing to get stuck in
