Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant - Nursery Setting
Burnley
Monday to Friday | 12:15pm - 3:15pm

Are you a caring and patient individual with a passion for supporting children with additional needs?
We are working with a welcoming nursery in Burnley who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide support to a child with special educational needs on a part-time basis.
This rewarding role will involve working closely with the child to help them access learning, develop social skills and feel confident within the nursery environment. You will work alongside experienced nursery staff to create a positive and nurturing atmosphere where every child can thrive.
The role:
Supporting a child with additional needs on a 1:1 basis
Encouraging engagement in learning and play activities
Promoting communication, independence and social development
Working alongside nursery staff to implement support strategies
Maintaining a safe, caring and inclusive environmentWhat we're looking for:
Experience working with children, ideally within a nursery, school or SEN setting
A patient, nurturing and positive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge or experience of supporting children with additional needs is desirable
Relevant childcare, Teaching Assistant or SEN qualifications are advantageous but not essentialWhat we offer:
