Salary / Rate of pay: £75 - £80 daily rate

Platinum Recruitment are working in partnership with a SEN school based in Plymouth that help and support children affected by autism and a range of other associated difficulties. We are seeking a confident SEN Teaching Assistant to support them through their educational journey.

The school has small class with multiple teachers and SEN Teaching Assistants which ensures flexibility to support each child. Alongside curriculum subjects they offer an enrichment programme which includes music, outdoor and water sports, and their popular forest school. Our client creates an environment that is inclusive, inspirational, and fun.

What's involved?

As one of the SEN Teaching Assistant you will be part of the on-site team, supporting either groups of young people or working on a one-to-one basis with the students. Teaching at this school comes in many forms and this can range from traditional classroom-based activities to opportunities to learn outside of the classroom. You will be supporting teaching specialists in delivering high quality teaching and learning by providing care and support.

A valid driving licence and a DBS on an update service are essential for this role.
