SEN Teaching Assistant
Feltham, West London
£515 - £550 per week
Full-Time | Term Time Only
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
An inclusive primary school in the Feltham area is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential within a nurturing learning environment.
Main Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
Support children within the school's dedicated SEN base and mainstream classrooms.
Assist pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
Implement strategies and interventions outlined in EHCPs and support plans.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress.
Help create an inclusive, safe and engaging learning environment.
Encourage positive behaviour and independence throughout the school day.
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
About You
Experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
A caring, patient and empathetic approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Passionate about making a positive difference in children's lives.
Able to adapt to the individual needs of pupils.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Available to work full-time from 8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
