An opportunity has arisen for a motivated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school located in Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent. This role is ideal for candidates eager to make a positive impact on young learners, particularly within the special educational needs (SEN) sector.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide high-quality classroom support to pupils, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

* Work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support that addresses individual pupil needs.

* Assist in planning and implementing engaging learning activities and routines.

* Support students with SEN to enhance their social and academic growth.

* Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-organised classroom setting.

* Promote the inclusion of all pupils, encouraging independence and confidence.

* Support personal care requirements as needed.

Candidate Requirements

* Previous experience working with children, ideally within primary or SEN settings.

* Strong communication and teamworking skills.

* Competence in personal care.

* A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.

* Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.

* Flexibility to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.
