SEN Teaching Assistant - North Mansfield
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a primary school this September?
Tradewind Recruitment is working with a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across North Mansfield to recruit dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants for full-time and part-time roles starting in September. These positions offer the opportunity to make a genuine difference by supporting pupils with a range of additional needs in both 1:1 and small group settings.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND.
Support children with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and speech & language difficulties.
Deliver interventions in phonics, reading, writing and maths.
Work closely with the class teacher to adapt learning and remove barriers to education.
Promote positive behaviour and help pupils build confidence and independence.
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will:
Have previous experience supporting children with SEND within a school or similar setting.
Be patient, caring and resilient.
Have excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential with relevant experience).
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Salary
£90 - £105 per day, depending on experience, qualifications and the responsibilities of the role, in line with Fair Work Agency guidance.
