SEN Teaching Assistant - SEMH in Bromley
£93 - £105 per day. Salary depends on qualifications and experience.
Start date: 19 October 2026 | full-time, long-term, temporary
Hours: Term time, 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
A calm welcome and a reliable adult can change how a pupil approaches the school day. This role focuses on helping children with social, emotional and mental health needs feel secure, manage difficult moments and reconnect with learning. Transparency Education is recruiting for this position in Bromley.
Key responsibilities
Build consistent, trusting relationships with pupils
Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour using agreed strategies
Help pupils access learning through manageable tasks and encouragement
Record observations and report concerns promptly to the appropriate staff
Role requirements
Experience supporting children with SEMH or related behavioural needs
A calm approach to challenging situations and clear professional boundaries
Strong teamwork and a willingness to follow individual support plans
A commitment to safeguarding and an enhanced DBS check appropriate to the role, or willingness to complete one.
