About the role and school

Teach Plus is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Southall, Ealing, starting ASAP. This full-time Teaching Assistant opportunity is based within the school's Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP), supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism, ADHD, speech and language communication difficulties, and complex needs. The successful Teaching Assistant will provide tailored support to help pupils access learning, develop communication skills, build independence and achieve their individual goals in a safe, structured and nurturing environment.

The school is an inclusive, community-focused primary setting in the Southall area of Ealing, serving a diverse local community and placing pupils' wellbeing, progress and personal development at the heart of its approach. With a strong emphasis on inclusive education, positive relationships and high expectations, the school aims to create an environment where every child feels valued and supported. The ARP provides a more tailored approach to learning, with structured routines and specialist support designed to meet the individual needs of pupils with additional needs. Staff work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO and other professionals to promote positive behaviour, effective communication and meaningful learning experiences.

This Teaching Assistant role would suit someone who is patient, proactive and passionate about supporting children with SEND in a primary school environment. You will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference to pupils' educational experiences, emotional wellbeing and long-term development while gaining valuable experience within an ARP setting. If you are an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who can adapt to individual learning needs, build trusting relationships and support children with complex needs, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community through Teach Plus.
