A number of 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants are needed for immediate and ongoing supply positions for a Good SEN school we work with in the Morpeth area.
We are looking for teaching assistants who have experience working with ASD, FASD, PTSD, Speech and Language needs, learning disabilities, or ADHD. You will be supporting on a 1 to 1 basis a Year 8 pupil. Candidates will ideally have SEN experience.
The ideal candidate would:
* Have good classroom management skills
* Have a passion for working as a Teaching Assistant
* Be able to organise themselves
* Be able to support effectively as a Teaching Assistant
In addition, you must:
• Provide two referees we can contact
• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain on
To be suitable for this role you must have a level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and you would ideally have a variety of experiences within primary schools. Health and social qualifications may be accepted based on experience.
Posts vary with day to day, short term, medium term and long term but we require staff that are flexible and willing to learn from experience staff at the school.
