SEN Teachers (ASAP or Sept24)

CERT Solutions are recruiting for committed and passionate individuals, for flexible, temporary and permanent opportunities within our schools in and around the Handsworth area.

Our SEN Schools across Birmingham are looking for Special Educational Needs Teachers to help support pupils across all ages either on a flexible basis, or long term. (EY up to KS5 *you can pick which)

We have a mixture of flexible day cover, short term and long term assignments available .

The ideal SEN Teacher for this role should:

* Have experience teaching children with SEN (required)

* Have training or experience in Makaton, PECS and visual aids (not essential but advantageous)

* Be flexible, proactive and patient

* Be able to communicate effectively within a team

* DBS on update service or willingness to apply for one

Responsibilities:

* Planning of exciting and creative lessons and activities for students

* Communicating with parents and families and using this to guide the learning of students

* Responsible for support staff within the classroom

* Working with pupils with complex and additional needs
