Salary: £170 - £220 per day
Are you a qualified SEN Teacher with QTS and experience supporting pupils with Autism?
Do you have the patience, resilience and adaptability to create engaging lessons around individual needs?
Are you looking for flexible teaching opportunities with the option of day-to-day or longer-term work?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEN setting in Stechford supporting pupils with Autism as their main need. The setting provides a supportive and structured learning environment where teaching is adapted to individual needs, helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and engagement with education.
The setting is looking to appoint an SEN Teacher for day-to-day and long-term opportunities, with both full-time and part-time options available. The successful SEN Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons, adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with Autism and work closely with support staff to provide a consistent approach to learning.
The successful SEN Teacher will have:
QTS
Experience teaching children and young people with SEND
Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD
The ability to differentiate and adapt lessons to individual needs
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
