We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Harrow looking for an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join their specialist team.
The Role
You will be supporting secondary-aged students with a range of SEND and complex needs, creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Planning and delivering differentiated lessons
Supporting students with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties
Creating individualised learning activities based on students' needs
Managing behaviour using positive and consistent strategies
Tracking progress and contributing to EHCP and individual targets
Working closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs and other professionals
Promoting independence, communication and confidence
We Are Looking For
QTS or relevant teaching qualification
Experience teaching within SEND / specialist settings
Experience supporting students with complex needs
Strong behaviour management and classroom skills
Patient, enthusiastic and committed approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Must hold a Child & Adult DBS
