Cert Solutions are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-established Special School for an experienced KS2 SEN Teacher to join their dedicated team from September 2026 until December 2026.

This is a full-time temporary position with an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to secure a permanent role at the school following the initial contract.

About the Role

You will be teaching Key Stage 2 pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), delivering engaging and personalised learning to primary-aged children with a range of additional needs. The successful candidate will be confident in creating a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment where every child can thrive.

Experience teaching pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) is essential, and you will be expected to adapt learning to meet individual needs while working collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider multidisciplinary team.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

* Previous experience teaching within a Special School setting.

* Proven experience working with KS2 pupils with Special Educational Needs.

* Strong knowledge and experience of teaching children with SLD and ASC.

* Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.

* The ability to plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes.

* A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to teaching children with additional needs.
