Position: SEN Primary Teacher
Location: West London
Salary: £150-£220 a day
Start date: April & September
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teacher to join our team at a school in West London. The ideal candidate will be able to lead small groups of students with a wide range of Special educational needs. This is a long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities of a SEN Secondary School Teacher include:

Planning and delivering lessons that are differentiated to meet the individual needs of students with special educational needs.
Assessing the strengths and weaknesses of each student and creating individualised education plans (IEPs) to support their learning and development.
Using a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and support their progress.
Collaborating with other professionals, such as teaching assistants, therapists, and parents, to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitoring and tracking students' progress, evaluating their achievements, and adjusting the curriculum as needed.
Providing emotional support and building positive relationships with students to promote their well-being and social development.
Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education and teaching strategies.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation of students' progress and achievements.Qualifications and Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
Knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with special needs.
Ability to adapt teaching techniques to meet the diverse needs of students.
