Position: SEN Teacher
Location: Mainstream School (APR) / SEN School
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2024

Do you have the qualifications and experience to support and inspire children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Role and Responsibilities: As a SEN Teacher, you will:

* Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students with ASC, ADHD, and SEMH.

* Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.

* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

* Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles.

* Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and their families.

* Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes the well-being and development of all students.

Candidate Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

* Proven experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with ASC, ADHD, and SEMH.

* Strong understanding of the challenges and best practices in SEN education.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

* Patience, creativity, and a genuine commitment to supporting the development of every child.
