3 days per week | Long-term | Specialist SEN Setting

Location: Maidstone, Kent
Contract Type: Long term 3 days a week
Pay Rate: £150- £350 per day

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity?

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and caring teacher to join a specialist SEN school on a long-term basis, working 3 days per week.

The school provides a nurturing and supportive environment for children aged 5-13, with a strong focus on supporting pupils with communication and interaction needs.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons tailored to individual needs.
Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils aged 5-13.
Support children with communication, interaction and emotional regulation.
Adapt teaching and learning to meet individual needs and EHCP outcomes.
Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families and the wider school team.
Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence and life skills.
Celebrate individual progress and achievements.
Contribute to a positive, nurturing and inclusive school environment.About You

We are looking for a teacher who is:

Passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
Patient, nurturing and approachable.
Creative and adaptable in their teaching.
Confident in managing individual learning needs.
A strong communicator and team player.
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.Experience working within SEN, autism, communication and interaction needs or a specialist school setting would be highly desirable.

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in SEN schools
