Supply Desk is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and nurturing SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Harrow from September.

Working as part of a collaborative and experienced SEN team, you will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs and abilities of pupils. You will monitor and assess progress, work closely with support staff and other professionals, and build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers.

The Role

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with SEN.
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that supports every pupil's learning and development.
Adapt teaching strategies, resources, and activities to accommodate a range of learning needs and abilities.
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using assessment effectively to inform future planning and teaching.
Work closely with Teaching Assistants and other support staff to ensure pupils receive appropriate and consistent support.
Build positive and professional relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
Work collaboratively with the SENCO and other professionals to support individual education and development plans.
Support pupils' social, emotional, behavioural, and communication development alongside their academic progress.
Contribute to the wider school community through enrichment activities and school events.
Uphold high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing.
The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs within a UK school setting.
Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
Has a strong understanding of SEN and different approaches to supporting pupils with additional needs.
Is passionate about providing an engaging, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
Has the ability to differentiate effectively and adapt teaching to meet individual pupil needs.
Promotes inclusive teaching practices and supports the needs of every pupil.
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Has a thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
