Are you a passionate SEN Teacher with QTS or QTLS looking for a rewarding long-term teaching opportunity?

A specialist school in Rochdale is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Autism SEN Teacher to join its supportive team on an immediate, long-term basis.

The school caters for young people aged 11-16 with Autism / ASC and additional learning needs. The school boasts a modern building with fantastic facilities and resources, providing an excellent environment in which both students and staff can thrive.

As an Autism SEN Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs and EHCP outcomes.
Teach students with Autism / ASC, adapting your approach to support communication, engagement and learning.
Create a structured, nurturing and positive classroom environment.
Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, confidence and independence.
Work closely with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team to provide consistent support.
Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to ensure students can achieve their potential.The School Offers

To be considered, you should:

Ideally hold QTS or QTLS (or have relevant teaching experience within a specialist setting).
Have experience teaching or supporting students with Autism / ASC.
Be confident adapting lessons to meet a range of additional needs.
Demonstrate patience, resilience and excellent classroom management.
