ASC SEN Teacher – Radlett

Location: Radlett

Supply Desk are seeking a professional, passionate, and dedicated ASC SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive specialist school in the Radlett area, starting this September.

This full-time role is ideal for a teacher with experience or a strong interest in supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and a range of additional needs. The successful candidate will be patient, compassionate, and adaptable, with a commitment to creating a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment where every pupil is supported to achieve their individual potential.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated, and accessible learning experiences tailored to the individual needs of pupils with ASC. You will monitor and assess pupil progress, support the development of communication, social, emotional, and independence skills, and work closely with teaching assistants, specialists, parents, and carers to ensure each child receives the appropriate support to thrive.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons and activities tailored to individual pupil needs
• Track, monitor, and report on students’ progress and development
• Liaise with parents/carers and relevant professionals to support pupils’ individual learning and development
• Contribution to extra-curricular activities and after-school clubs
• Cooperation with colleagues in order to deliver the best possible outcomes

Requirements:

• Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
• Experience working with pupils with SEN, particularly Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and/or complex needs
• Passion for supporting the development of learning, communication, independence, and social skills
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour support skills
• Inclusive ethics
• Knowledge/Maintenance/Promotion of safeguarding
