Description:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive specialist setting in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is committed to supporting pupils with additional needs, behavioural difficulties and complex learning requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons while creating a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment. You may be supporting pupils with needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, communication difficulties, learning difficulties and challenging behaviour, so the ability to adapt teaching and build strong, trusting relationships is essential.

Key responsibilities:

Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated SEN lessons
Supporting pupils with a range of additional and complex needs
Adapting teaching strategies to individual learning profiles
Managing behaviour positively and promoting emotional regulation
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Monitoring progress and identifying individual learning needs
Working closely with TAs, SENCOs and other professionals
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essentialind-teach
