SEN Teacher - West London
Reeson Education are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in West London. This is an excellent opportunity for a trained SEN Teacher with strong experience working with pupils with additional needs to join a well-established specialist setting.
The school is looking for an SEN Teacher with significant SEN experience who can deliver engaging lessons while adapting teaching to meet a wide range of individual learning needs.
The Role - SEN Teacher, West London
As an SEN Teacher in West London, you will:
Teach pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum
Adapt teaching and resources to different learning levels
Support pupils with complex learning and behavioural needs
Work closely with Teaching Assistants and other professionals
Build positive relationships with pupils and maintain clear classroom routines
Track pupil progress and contribute to individual learning plans
Create a structured classroom environment where pupils can make progress
The Ideal SEN Teacher - West London
The successful SEN Teacher will have:
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Extensive experience working within SEN or specialist education
Experience teaching pupils with additional needs
Strong classroom management skills
Experience adapting lessons for different abilities
A calm and consistent approach to behaviour
Good knowledge of SEN teaching strategies
The ability to build strong relationships with pupils
A genuine interest in developing pupils academically and personally
Experience with ASD, MLD, SLD, PMLD, SEMH, ADHD or complex needs would be highly beneficial.
