SEND Teacher - Primary SEMH School - Hayes, Hillingdon
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Qualified Teacher with QTS to join a specialist primary school in Hayes, supporting pupils aged 4-11 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who can build positive relationships, manage challenging behaviour and create a structured, engaging learning environment.
The Role:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' needs.
Support pupils with SEMH and emotional regulation difficulties.
Implement consistent routines, boundaries and positive behaviour strategies.
Work closely with LSAs to support learning, engagement and progress.
Build trusting relationships and help pupils overcome barriers to education.
The Ideal Candidate:
Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Previous experience teaching pupils with SEND, ideally within an SEMH setting.
Confident managing challenging behaviour and implementing behaviour plans.
Patient, resilient and able to take a trauma-informed approach.
Skilled at adapting lessons to meet a range of learning needs.
