The school is committed to supporting students with a range of additional needs, helping them to develop academically, socially, and emotionally through personalised learning and specialist support.
We are looking to recruit a SEND Teacher on a day-to-day basis, with the opportunity to secure a long-term position for the right SEND Teacher. The successful SEND Teacher will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of students with SEND while promoting confidence, independence, and positive learning outcomes. This SEND Teacher role offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team within a supportive specialist setting. The ideal SEND Teacher will be adaptable, patient, and committed to providing high-quality education for every learner. As a SEND Teacher, you will work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to ensure every student receives the support they need to succeed.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching students with SEND within a UK education setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, proactive, and nurturing approach to teaching
