Teaching Personnel is working with a Specialist Secondary School in Trafford to recruit a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their dedicated team this September.
About the School
This is a well-established, specialist provision supporting students aged 11–19 with a range of needs, including:
Severe and moderate learning difficulties (SLD/MLD)
Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC)
Speech, language and communication needs
The school offers a structured, nurturing and inclusive environment, with small class sizes and a strong emphasis on independence, life skills and personal growth. Staff work collaboratively to ensure every student feels supported, valued and able to succeed.
Your Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment
Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and families
Support students’ academic, social and emotional development
Use creative and adaptive approaches to maximise engagement
Track progress and contribute to reviews and target setting
✅ What We’re Looking For
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
Experience working with SEN learners (ASC/SLD preferred)
A patient, flexible and compassionate approach
Strong skills in differentiation and classroom management
A genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential
