Job Title: Primary SEN Teacher

Start Date: September 2024

Location: Lambeth

Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary SEN Teacher for a September 2024 start. This exciting role is based within an SEN unit at a primary school in Lambeth, specifically catering to a Year 4/5 class of 10 pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). The classroom will have the support of 4 Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), ensuring a comprehensive and collaborative teaching environment.

Class Details: Year 4/5 class, 10 pupils with ASC, supported by 4 LSAsPrimary SEN Teacher - Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of students with ASC.
Collaborate with LSAs to provide targeted support and interventions.
Create a nurturing, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that promotes the well-being and academic progress of all students.
Work closely with the SENCO, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Employ a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage and motivate students.Primary SEN Teacher - Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly those with ASC.
Strong understanding of SEN best practices and strategies for supporting children with autism.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
