Complete Classroom Services are looking for a SEN Teacher to join a SEN School in Greenwich from September, though an earlier start can be accommodated. This SEN School specialise in providing tailored education and support to students who struggle in mainstream settings. They are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, helping our pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a committed and skilled SEN Teacher to lead a class by offering bespoke educational support and creating a nurturing learning environment. This role is ideal for an experienced Primary SEN teacher or a subject-specific Secondary teacher who can adapt their teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of our students. Candidates with experience in Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) will be highly valued, though it is not a requirement. In this position, you will collaborate closely with our experienced therapy teams, including occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and educational psychologists, to develop and implement IEPs that ensure each pupil receives the full support they need to excel both academically and emotionally.

Responsibilities:

* Plan, prepare, and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of KS3 pupils with SEN.

* Support children who struggle to receive tailored support in mainstream settings.

* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and supported.

* Collaborate with experienced therapy teams to implement and monitor individual education plans (IEPs).

* Work with the leadership team to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.

* Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to pupils, parents, and colleagues.

* Manage and support challenging behaviour effectively, using appropriate strategies and interventions.

The successful SEN Teacher will have:

* Experience working with SEN pupils, particularly those who struggle in mainstream settings.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards school development.

* QTS or equivalent

* Experience in PRUs is advantageous but not required.

* Access to Good References and an Enhanced DBS
