Are you an experienced Teacher seeking a new role for September? Do you have a passion for supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs? Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced Teacher to join a Specialist School located in the Colchester Area.

About the school:

The school caters for pupils between the ages of 3 and 19 who have a range of Additional Learning Needs.
The needs of the pupils include Autism, physical disabilities, challenging behaviours and speech and language needs.
Located a short walk from the town centre, the school is easily accessible via car or public transport.
Classes are small to ensure lessons are accessible for all needs.
The school has a large team of educators, including Speech and Language Therapists, a Paediatrician, School Nurses, Occupational Therapists and a Teacher of the Visually Impaired.
The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working as a primary or secondary teacher who has supported pupils with SEN, however the school are happy to support you in your induction to SEN if you can demonstrate a passion to supporting pupils with special educational needs.
Work closely with a small group of pupils who have special educational needs, providing face-to-face support to those with SEMH.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered to succeed.
Collaborate with staff members, other educational professionals, and parents to develop strategies for student success.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:15 – 15:45

Pay will be to scale

Qualifications required: Degree with QTS, PGCE with QTS or equivalent for UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
