SEN Teacher - SEN School - ASAP Start - Waltham Forest - MPS1-MPS6 DOE

Qualified SEN Teacher - QTS or QTLS
SEN Teacher required in Waltham Forest
Experienced SEN Teacher required ASAP
Primary/SEN experience desirable

Are you an experienced SEN Teacher with over 3 years' experience teaching children with SEN?

Do you have QTS or QTLS and a genuine passion for working within SEN?

Would you describe yourself as a nurturing teacher with strong behaviour management skills?

If you answered yes to the above, then this SEN Teacher role is for you!

The Role - SEN Teacher

I am recruiting for an experienced SEN Teacher to teach a small class of 6 children with complex needs. As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons at approximately KS1 ability level. The students are aged between 6 and 11, although their academic ability and individual needs will vary. The ideal SEN Teacher will either be an experienced Primary SEN Teacher or a mainstream Primary Teacher who is looking to transition into a specialist SEN setting. You will need to be nurturing, patient and confident adapting lessons to meet individual needs. Some children may display challenging behaviour, so strong behaviour management and the ability to create a calm, structured learning environment are essential.

The School - SEN Teacher

This SEN school in Waltham Forest supports children with a range of complex and additional needs. Classes are kept small to allow students to receive a high level of individualised support and attention. The school has a strong multidisciplinary approach, with teachers working closely alongside experienced Teaching Assistants and other professionals to support students academically, socially and emotionally. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment where the focus is not only on academic progress but also on developing childrens communication, independence, confidence and life skills. This is a great opportunity for an SEN Teacher who wants to work within a supportive specialist environment and make a genuine difference to children with complex needs.
