We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team in a vibrant Primary School specialising in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) education, located in the heart of Liverpool. This is a full-time position, offering an exciting chance to shape the future of young learners and support their holistic development.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of SEN students.

Foster a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to academic and personal growth.

Utilise creative teaching strategies and resources to facilitate learning and promote student engagement.

Maintain accurate records of student progress and collaborate with colleagues to develop personalised learning plans.

Build strong partnerships with parents, caregivers, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for students.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience working with SEN students.

Strong understanding of SEMH needs and strategies to support positive behaviour management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community.

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and relevant safeguarding training.

To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
