Are you an experienced SEN Teacher with a PMLD specialism looking for your next opportunity?
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate PMLD SEN Teacher to join a specialist post-16 SEN college, supporting learners with profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex additional needs.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging, personalised and highly differentiated learning experiences to post-16 learners within a specialist college environment. You will work closely with support staff and other professionals to ensure learners receive the appropriate academic, social and personal development support.
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher with experience working within SEN education
* Strong experience supporting learners with PMLD and complex needs
* Experience working within a specialist college or similar SEN setting
* Confident adapting and differentiating lessons to meet individual needs
* Understanding of EHCPs and personalised learning
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Passionate about supporting young people to develop independence and achieve their potential
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
