Description:

Smart Education is currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher to work in Erdington within a specialist SEN school. This SEN Teacher position offers an exciting opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs within a structured and nurturing educational environment. 

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and confident adapting learning to meet individual pupil needs. This SEN Teacher role is available on a full-time or part-time basis and offers both long-term and flexible opportunities.

Working as a SEN Teacher, you will become part of a committed school team focused on creating positive learning experiences and helping pupils develop both academically and personally. Every SEN Teacher within the setting plays an important role in promoting confidence, independence and progress.

Job Requirements of a SEN Teacher:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN within a UK school setting as a SEN Teacher
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Enhanced Child or Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

Role responsibilities of a SEN Teacher:
• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons as a SEN Teacher
• Support pupils with a range of additional and complex learning needs
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and SEN teams as a SEN Teacher
