GSL Education Kent are actively seeking a SEN Teacher for a placement at Client Schools in Dartford. The schools are dedicated to creating a nurturing space where students with special needs can thrive. Join us a SEN Teacher to contribute to their growth, ensuring a supportive and enriching educational experience.

As a SEN Teacher, your responsibilities will be to:

Plan and execute engaging and creative lessons to a KS3 class, tailored to diverse learning needs.
Demonstrate positive behaviour and serve as a role model for students, effectively managing challenging behaviours when they arise.
Offer one-to-one or small group support for students with special, facilitating their access to the curriculum.
Conduct small group interventions to reinforce learning goals effectively.
Assist in maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere and managing behaviours.
Employ strategies for equitable access to education for students with additional needs.

Requirements for the SEN Teacher role:

Proven experience working with studentswith SEN
Possess a recognised Teaching qualification in the UK or have relevant experience.
Experience teaching English, Maths and Science.
Energetic and patient with strong classroom management skills.
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
A full checkable work history
