Our learners may have SEN, SEMH needs, medical conditions, or be awaiting placement in a specialist school. Many require personalised support to rebuild confidence, re-engage with learning, and achieve their full potential.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where relationships, wellbeing, and individual progress are at the heart of everything they do.

About the Role

As an Alternative Provision Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group learning sessions tailored to each student's individual needs. Combining high-quality teaching with a therapeutic approach, you will help young people develop resilience, self-belief, and the skills needed to progress both academically and personally. This is a TTO role.

What You'll Be Doing

* Planning, delivering, and evaluating personalised learning programmes that meet the academic, emotional, and developmental needs of individual students.

* Creating engaging learning experiences that enable every young person to achieve success and make meaningful progress.

* Building positive, trusting relationships with students that promote confidence, motivation, and emotional wellbeing.

* Supporting students with a range of needs including SEN, SEMH, and medical requirements.

* Acting as a key worker or lead tutor for a small caseload of students, providing pastoral guidance and support.

* Maintaining accurate records, assessments, and progress reports for each learner.

* Working collaboratively with schools, parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.

* Contributing to a dedicated and supportive team committed to changing young lives.

* Participating in meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

* Upholding safeguarding responsibilities and maintaining the highest professional standards.

You'll Also Bring

* A passion for supporting vulnerable and hard-to-reach young people.
