SEN Teacher | Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and regularly update individualised education plans for each student.
Set specific, measurable goals tailored to the unique needs and abilities of each child.
Design engaging and accessible lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods and assistive technologies.
Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff to deliver comprehensive care and communicate regularly with parents and guardians
Adhere to all legal requirements and school policies regarding SEN education.SEN Teacher | Requirements

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field is desirable.
Additional certifications in areas related SEN are desirable.
Previous experience working with children with severe SEN and disabilities.
Experience in developing and implementing individualised education plans (IEPs).
In-depth understanding of various disabilities and SEN, including autism spectrum disorders, physical disabilities, and cognitive impairments.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to implement positive behaviour support strategies.
Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to teaching.
