This is a rewarding opportunity to work with children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language Needs, Moderate Learning Difficulties and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

As an SEN Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in creating personalised learning experiences that help pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve meaningful progress. You will be joining a collaborative team of teachers, teaching assistants, therapists and pastoral staff who are committed to delivering outstanding outcomes for every learner.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver adapted curriculum lessons across various Key Stages

* Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

* Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families.

* Monitor and assess student progress.

* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

* Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Understanding of SEND speicific teaching strategies such as TEACCH, SCERTS, Zones of Regulation

* Experience teaching pupils with ASD, SLD, PMLD or SEMH.

* Understanding of Total Communication - PECS, Visuals, Makaton or AAC use.

* Excellent behaviour management skills.

* Commitment to inclusive education
