A welcoming and supportive primary school in Wellingborough is looking to appoint an SEN Teacher to join their team for an immediate start. Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with SEND
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports individual learning needs
Adapt teaching methods and resources to support pupil engagement and progress
Work closely with teaching assistants and SEN staff to provide consistent support
Monitor pupil progress and adjust planning where necessary
Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development throughout the school day
Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues

Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Previous experience working with children with additional needs
Strong understanding of SEND and inclusive classroom practices
Patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach to teaching
Confident managing behaviour in a calm and supportive manner
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential
