Hours of Work: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £85-£100 per day

About the role:

Are you passionate about supporting children with SEMH needs?

We are seeking a dynamic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role is essential in providing tailored support to students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The position is available due to the expansion of our SEN provision, reflecting our commitment to enhancing inclusive education.

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies. You will contribute to creating a nurturing classroom environment and facilitate learning activities that promote social and emotional development. Class sizes are small, ensuring focused attention and effective support.

Application Requirements:

• Have experience working with children with SEMH needs, ideally in an educational setting.

• Relevant qualification or training in Special Educational Needs is beneficial but not required.

• Demonstrate empathy, patience, and resilience in supporting students' emotional well-being.

• Collaborate effectively with teachers and external specialists to deliver personalised learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing SEN strategies and interventions under the guidance of the SENCO.

• Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs.

• Monitoring progress and maintaining records of student achievements and challenges.

• Promoting positive behavior and emotional regulation techniques.
