Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with expertise in managing challenging behaviours, specifically students who may exhibit vocal outbursts (screaming). This role plays a crucial part in supporting our SEN department and ensuring a positive learning environment for all students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This position is a new addition to our team, designed to enhance our support for students with complex needs and behaviours, reflecting our commitment to inclusive education.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with children with challenging behaviours.
• Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing one-on-one and small group support to SEN students.
• Implementing behavior management strategies and interventions.
• Collaborating with teachers and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
