About the role:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?

We are seeking a dedicated SEN TA to join our dynamic team. This full-time, long-term position offers a competitive salary ranging from £85 to £100 per day.

As an integral part of our Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 teams, you'll be working closely with our experienced educators to provide tailored support to students with challenging behaviours. With a class size conducive to personalised attention, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our pupils.

Application Requirements:

• Relevant experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with challenging behaviours.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.

• Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to supporting students with diverse needs.

• A proactive attitude towards professional development, staying abreast of best practices in SEN education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) as needed.

• Assisting classroom teachers in managing behavior and implementing positive reinforcement strategies.

• Collaborating with the SENCO and external specialists to assess student progress and adjust support strategies accordingly.
