About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN TA with Specialism in Challenging Behaviours (Screamer) to join our team in Finchley, London, UK. This full-time, long-term position offers a competitive salary range of £85-£100 per day.

This pivotal role has become available due to increased student enrolment and the need for additional support in managing challenging behaviours effectively. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils in small classes, alongside a passionate team committed to inclusive education, providing personalised support that makes a real difference in students' lives.

Application Requirements:

• Qualifications:

Relevant experience in SEN support, with a focus on challenging behaviours

• Skills:

Strong communication skills, empathy, resilience, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team

• Knowledge of SEN Strategies:

Demonstrated proficiency in implementing and adapting SEN strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, particularly those with challenging behaviours.

• Team Collaboration Skills:

Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators), and other professionals to create and maintain a positive learning environment that supports the overall well-being and academic success of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting individual students with SEN needs.

• Implementing behavior management plans.

• Collaborating with teachers and parents to facilitate student progress.

• Contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment.
