About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in managing challenging behaviours to join a welcoming primary school in Ealing, London. This role involves supporting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance they need to thrive academically and socially.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with challenging behaviours.

• Ability to build rapport and provide emotional support to students.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

• Relevant qualifications and training in SEN support (desirable).

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with SEN, focusing on those with challenging behaviours.

• Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.

• Assist in the planning and delivery of individual education plans (IEPs).

• Maintain records and contribute to progress reports as required.
