SEN Teaching Assistant - Needs to be Epilepsy and Catheterisation Trained

Location: Burnley

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Do you have expertise in catheterisation and epilepsy care? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Burnley.

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one-on-one support for a child with specific medical needs. This long-term position will continue until the child leaves school, offering stability and the chance to build a meaningful connection.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support and care to a child with SEN, including catheterisation and epilepsy management.
Assist with classroom activities, ensuring the child's inclusion and participation.
Collaborate with teachers and healthcare professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
Monitor and record the child's progress, communicating effectively with parents and staff.
Ensure the child's safety and well-being at all times.Requirements:

Relevant qualifications and training in catheterisation and epilepsy care.
Experience working with children with special educational needs.
A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to the child's long-term development and well-being.
