Hours of Work: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £85-£100 per day

About the role:

As a SEN-TA - Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with ASD to access the curriculum and reach their full potential. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create individualised learning plans tailored to each student's unique needs.

Your responsibilities will include providing one-on-one support, facilitating social skills development, implementing behavioral strategies, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Application Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications or training in special education, autism studies, or related fields are highly desirable.

• Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to students with ASD, both in the classroom and during individual sessions.

• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualised learning plans.

• Assist students with academic tasks, including literacy, numeracy, and other subject areas.
