Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £85-£100 per day

About the role:

We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN-TA (Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant) with a specialization in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for a long-term position in Islington, London. As a SEN-TA, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to students, ensuring they have access to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the development of children with SEN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing strategies and interventions to support students with ASD in academic, social, and emotional development.

• Collaborating with teachers and therapists to create and deliver tailored learning experiences.

• Monitoring and recording student progress, and reporting to relevant stakeholders.

• Providing one-on-one or small group support as required.

• Promoting independence and fostering a nurturing and supportive classroom environment.
