About the role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with expertise in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder to join our team. This role is essential in providing tailored support and assistance to children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, ensuring they receive the best possible education in a nurturing environment.
Application Requirements:
• Relevant qualifications or training related to SEN support is preferred.
• Proven experience working with primary-aged students, preferably in a multicultural setting.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with ASD, assisting them in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning goals.
• Implement individualised learning plans and behavior management strategies as directed by the SENCO and class teachers.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the well-being and progress of all students.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.
