Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: Daily Rate £85-£100

Our client, a nurturing school situated in the vibrant community of Newham, is seeking an empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) with expertise in supporting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant specialising in ASD, you’ll embark on a journey of empathy and understanding. You’ll work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff, tailoring interventions to meet the individual requirements of each child on the spectrum.

Navigating the Spectrum:

Whether it’s providing structured support to a student with sensory sensitivities or helping another develop social communication skills, you’ll adapt your approach to meet the unique needs of each child. Qualifications and Qualities:

Previous experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum.

A deep understanding of the varying degrees of ASD and strategies for supporting neurodiverse learners.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external professionals.

Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children with ASD.
