SEN-TA (ASD Specialism)

Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £85 – £100 Daily Rate

Location: Cheshunt

Our client, a reputable educational institution nestled in the heart of Cheshunt, is seeking a dedicated SEN-TA with a specialisation in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to join their passionate team. As an SEN-TA with expertise in ASD, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with diverse needs, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance required to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one support to students with ASD, implementing tailored strategies to meet their specific learning objectives.
Collaborate closely with teachers and other support staff to create individualised education

plans (IEPs) and ensure the holistic development of students.

Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and caregivers, promoting open communication and a sense of inclusion within the school community.
Assist in the planning and delivery of differentiated lessons, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles.
Monitor student progress and behaviour, implementing effective interventions as needed to address challenges and facilitate academic growth.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with individuals with ASD is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with students and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the unique needs of students with special educational needs.

Relevant qualifications and certifications in SEN support are advantageous but not essential.

This is a full-time, long-term position offering a competitive daily rate of £85-£100, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
