We are currently working with a highly regarded Good Ofsted-rated secondary school in Enfield, which is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and the school's SEN team to support students with a range of additional needs.

You will help students overcome barriers to learning, develop their confidence and independence, and engage positively with their education.

The successful candidate will have strong behaviour management skills and experience supporting students with a range of SEN needs. You will need to be calm, consistent and confident when working with students who may present with challenging behaviour.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will:

Have previous experience working with SEN students
Have experience supporting a range of additional needs
Demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills
Be confident building positive relationships with students
Be patient, resilient and consistent
Have a genuine passion for supporting young people
Be able to work effectively alongside teachers and the wider SEN team
Be committed to helping students achieve their potential
