SEN Teaching Assistants Required - Solihull

Aspire People are recruiting dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs in specialist educational settings across Solihull.

We are working with a specialist provision for students aged 4-19, where all pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The setting supports students with a wide range of additional needs and requires compassionate, patient, and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistants to help pupils achieve their full potential.

You may be supporting students with:

ADHD
Autism
Down's Syndrome
Dyslexia
Dyscalculia
Dyspraxia
Hearing Impairment
Fragile X Syndrome
Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
Prader-Willi Syndrome
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Speech, Communication and Language Difficulties
Visual Impairment
A range of medical needs
The Role
Providing 1:1 and small group support
Assisting students with their learning, communication, and social development
Supporting pupils with personal, emotional, and behavioural needs
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals
Creating a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidates Will Have
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school, care, support work, youth work, or similar backgrounds welcome)
A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
