We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our outstanding team at a specialist SEN school located in Lichfield. Our school, recognized by OFSTED as 'OUTSTANDING', prides itself on providing exceptional education and support for students with a range of SEN requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing tailored support and assistance to students with SEN, including Autism and behavioural needs, both in and out of the classroom.
Collaborating closely with teachers and SENCO to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioural strategies.
Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
Assisting with the personal care and well-being of students as required.Requirements:
Previous experience working with students with SEN, particularly Autism and behavioural needs, is essential.
A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a patient and empathetic approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
